Eleven years after his experience as Maestro Concertatore of the Notte della Taranta, Goran Bregovic's turbo folk returns to Melpignano: on Friday, August 11, the world's most famous Balkan musician and composer will be a guest with the Wedding and Funeral Band at SEI, a Salento festival conceived, produced and promoted by Coolclub.
The show that Goran Bregovic will bring to the stage of the Palazzo Marchesale in Melpignano will be a mix of his historic hits and songs from his most recent albums, and there will be no shortage of previews of the new project that will be released soon. A complete, full, strong and entertaining show that once again will give the Italian audience a live experience full of energy and dynamism: a concert all to live and dance to.
Goran Bregovic (guitar, synthesizer and vocals) is accompanied by Muharem Redžepi (traditional bass drum, vocals), a gypsy wind band consisting of Bokan Stankovic (first trumpet), Dragic Velickovic (second trumpet), Stojan Dimov (sax and clarinet), Aleksandar Rajkovic (first trombone and glockenspiel) and Milos Mihajlovic (second trombone), and the Bulgarian voices of Ludmila Radkova Trajkova and Daniela Radkova Aleksandrova.
